Wyatt News.

Mrs. John Frans of Douglass, Kan., was a guest of her sister, Mrs. Arthur Parr a few days last week having been called here by the serious illness and death of her brother, Charles Murphy.

Charles, better known as "Hoss" Murphy, passed quietly away Friday evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. Arthur Parr on the R. L. Williams farm after an illness from dropsy the past three weeks. He was born August 6th, 1910, departed this life April 24th, 1931, being twenty years, eight months and eighteen days of age at his death. His father and mother preceded him in death several years ago. He leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Mrs. John Frans of Douglas, Kan., Mrs. Arthur Parr, and four brothers, Tandy, Willis, Jake and Ben. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the grave in Rush Ridge cemetery by Rev. E. H. Orear of M. E. Church of Charleston. The pall bearers were Wayne Lockaby, John Vowels, Finis Below, Rufus and Russell Noiseworthy and Jimmy Chambers. The bereaved family have the deepest sympathy of the community.
